By salvaging, reusing, donating, repurposing and recycling we have reduced construction waste that would otherwise go to our landfills. Pre-Plan

Pre-Planning in construction is essential in creating a project that satisfies all your desires. Taking the time to determine scope and design will allow for budget preparation and the beginning of the formation of your project. As details, ideas and priorities develop so too will a more accurate strategy for design and construction. In the essential Pre-Planning/Pre-Construction Stage of a Project, an experienced and knowledgeable team of the Owner(s), Architect, Engineer(s), Builder - Fortress Construction Incorporated, Specialty Trades and Suppliers, collaboratively work together to achieve the project goals and Owner requirements.

Life Cycle Approach

For a Life Cycle approach we think about the Big Picture. The Life Cycle approach looks at each element of construction and evaluates; extraction, transportation, installation, durability and ultimately disposal or recyclability of the product. The total energy consumed in all these combined phases is called embodied energy. A Life Cycle approach considers and minimizes the embodied energy required. Another great derivative in considering a Life Cycle approach is the support of local manufacturing and business.
